nocnt

About nocnt

nocnt is an iPhone app that counts the days since you last contacted your ex. When you want to text them, check their profile or unblock them, it gives you something to do instead, and it keeps your count on your Lock Screen.

We’re a small independent team at Vasgo Apps. We built nocnt because the moment that decides no contact is small and late at night: a thumb over a name. This site is meant for that moment too. The exercises work right here in your browser, with nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.

How we write the guides

When we say research shows something, we link the study at the end of the page, and we describe what it actually found: who took part, and what it can and can’t tell us. A lot of breakup advice isn’t backed by any research, and “no contact” itself is a popular self-help practice rather than something studied as a method. When that’s the case, we say so.

The day-by-day descriptions come from the app and are based on commonly reported experiences. They aren’t a clinical timeline, and your weeks may look different.

What nocnt is not

nocnt isn’t therapy or medical advice, and it isn’t for emergencies. If you’re in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, call or text 988 in the US, or find a helpline in your country at findahelpline.com. If you’re staying away from someone because they hurt you, you can reach the National Domestic Violence Hotline at thehotline.org.

Privacy

Nothing you type on this site leaves your browser. There are no accounts, no cookies and no tracking of what you write. The app’s own privacy policy is on the Vasgo Apps site.
